This older gentleman is evolving into type VI hair loss.We prescribed finasteride to preserve existing hair. We did FUT consisting of 4,020 follicular units (1-807, 2-2059, 3-1064, 4-90; 8,477 hairs). He is shown two and half years later.

The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.
