Procedure detail
This 30 year old hair restoration patient has extensive baldness and was started on Finasteride and Minoxidil. A follicular unit hair transplant was performed in such a way as to provide maximum improvement while taking into consideration the possibility of future hair loss. 3,559 grafts were done, including: 1076 (1-hair), 1843 (2-hair), 623 (3-hair), 15 (4-hair) = 6,691 hairs. Only very light coverage was given to the crown. Results are one year post op.

Norwood stage 5
Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
