Procedure detail
This Vancouver area patient in his late 20's came to Dr. Wong for as much coverage as possible. He has average overall donor hair and supply. 4720 grafts were used comprised of 1190 singles, 3,000 doubles and 530 3-4 hair grafts. A little over 3,000 grafts were used to rebuild the hairline and frontal zone. A few were scattered in the mid scalp were there was less need for work and where the finasteride would be relied upon. Approximately 1500 were used in the crown. The after photos were taken 13 months post-op.

Norwood stage 5
Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
