This patient in his mid 50's was presented to Dr. Ron Shapiro for his hair restoration options. His goal was to address his hair loss in his frontal half. With the patient having above average density and laxity hair transplant surgery was performed using 4567 grafts utilizing 11960 hairs. The results shown are from and FUT hair transplant procedure at 12 months postoperative.
Bald class
Norwood stage 5
Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
