This 52 year old gentleman had 3 procedures done
back in the late 90’s by another Physician in Chicago. During his previous
procedures they had used larger grafts, which left him with a “pluggy” look as
his pre-existing hair thinned over the last 12 years. He was not comfortable
exposing his hairline and therefore he was somewhat restricted with his hair
styles. After establishing his medical history and
understanding the progression of his hair loss I was confident that I could
repair his hairline. I dense packed 2,910 follicular units into the
frontal 1/3 of his scalp. There were 1,130 single grafts placed just into his
hairline followed by 1,261 two hair follicular units. 519 three hair follicular
units were placed just behind the hairline. These are his results 10 months
post-op.
